Andrew M. Stewart is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Sloane Stewart, PLLC, where he maintains a dedicated focus on the nuanced and complex field of criminal defense. Education & Accomplishments

Mr. Stewart is a proud alumnus of the George Washington University Law School, where he honed his legal acumen and developed a theoretical foundation that supports his practical skills in the courtroom. In addition to his legal education, he further expanded his cultural and intellectual horizons through studies in Spanish and Latin American politics at the University of San Francisco in Quito, Ecuador, and the University of Havana in Havana, Cuba. This exposure enhances his ability to communicate effectively with diverse, multi-lingual clientele and brings a valuable perspective to the practice.


Beyond his legal endeavors, Mr. Stewart embodies a commitment to public service and community engagement. He is an Eagle Scout, a testament to his dedication to leadership and service in his community. In academia, he has contributed as a Professorial Lecturer in Law at the George Washington University Law School, sharing his insights and experiences with the next generation of legal professionals. Additionally, he served as a contributing author to "Federal Criminal Practice" published by James Publishing in 2005, further demonstrating his commitment to enhancing the field of criminal law.
